The “biggest leak in history”, a pro-EU leaflet campaign from Whitehall and the prospect of Hong Kong independence are the three topics for this week’s podcast.
To begin, we take a look at the Panama Papers, a leak of 11.5m documents from Mossack Fonseca, an offshore law firm based in the Central American country that specialises in, er, minimising people’s tax exposure.
Next, we discuss at a £9m leaflet that will be dispatched to 27m homes across Britain in an attempt to convince us to vote to remain in the EU, much to the chagrin of the many Leave campaigns vying for attention.
And lastly, a group of Occupy activists in Hong Kong have launched a new political party. Among Demosisto’s prospective policies is the intriguing proposal to break official ties with mainland China.
